We held our 13th Charity Quiz on 2nd November at the Ricoh Arena
The Annual Burgis & Bullock Charity was a very successful evening with over 120 people attending. The net proceeds from the event and raffle totalled £1,000 which is being donated to the chosen charity for the year Springfield Mind.
Springfield Mind is a successful charity founded 33 years ago to promote well-being within the community. Their mission is to deliver local services which promote mental well-being. They achieve this in partnership with service users, volunteers and professionals through education, signposting and promotion.
Commenting on the event Sean Farnell, Quizmaster and Partner of Burgis & Bullock said: “This is the 13th year we have held a charity quiz and I am continually amazed by the generosity and intellectual dexterity of the local business community. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and generously donated raffle prizes and made the night a huge success.
Springfield Mind are a fantastic local charity supporting individuals in times of need across Coventry and Warwickshire. With mental health starting to get the higher profile it deserves Burgis & Bullock are delighted to help all be it in a very small way.”
As well as being the charity, the team from Springfield Mind also scooped the trophy in a close run finale, ably helped and assisted by Burgis & Bullock Managing Partner, Wende Hubbard
