Founding Years

Our story begins with James Frederick Burgis, who founded the firm in 1887 at 6 Clarence Terrace, Leamington Spa. In 1903, the visionary Reginald Thomas Bullock joined forces with James, and the firm expanded its footprint to 11 Waterloo Place, Leamington Spa.

1931 - 1947

A Family Tradition

The legacy continued with the entry of Herbert Clifford Burgis, son of the founder, in 1931. By then, the firm had blossomed into a team of 4 Partners. The 1940s saw further growth, with 5 Partners and an expansion to 11 & 13 Waterloo Place by 1947.

1981 - 2015

Growth and Expansion

Fast forward to 1981, and Burgis & Bullock had evolved with the times, boasting 8 Partners. During the 1980s, the firm moved to Chapel Court in Leamington and established offices in Nuneaton and Rugby, strategically positioning itself for regional impact.
In a nod to tradition, in 2015, the firm returned to its roots, moving to 23-25 Waterloo Place, reaffirming its commitment to the heart of Leamington Spa.

2017 - Today

Strategic Acquisitions and Modernization

The year 2017 marked a significant milestone with the acquisition of a practice and the establishment of an office in Stratford on Avon. Simultaneously, the Nuneaton office underwent a relocation to modern accommodations, showcasing our commitment to providing contemporary services.
