Sean Farnell

Sean is a Partner specialising in client services and business growth services for owner managed businesses.

Sean has a full portfolio of clients ranging from personal tax, through small businesses and family-owned Limited Companies, as well as larger company clients. His main area of responsibility focuses on non-regulated services for clients, in particular on providing Management Information,  business advice, profit growth support and systems and process assistance.

He also runs the business coaching and development arm of the Practice, covering all the firm’s offices, working one-to-one with clients, and making presentations at events across the UK. He currently also heads the FD Fusion Initiative bringing together Accountants, Fractional Finance Directors, Marketing Expertise, Operational Directors, Technology and Education to help drive productivity in UK small businesses.

Sean has experience of working with many different industries including Engineering, Software and Technology, Overseas Businesses, Land Property and Construction, Education, and the Care Sector. Other specialisms include IT and marketing for the firm, and he is also a Mastery Graduate with AVN and Durham University Business School.

Sean was a Board Member of Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) from 2013 to its close in 2024. Sean is currently a Board Member of Coventry & Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust (CWRT),  C W Growth Hub Limited, and Growth Hub Business Solutions Limited, as well as Chairman of Nuneaton Pathfinder Board.

He is married with two grown-up children, is a keen cook, has a passion for beagles and is a fanatical supporter of Leicester Tigers Rugby. He also has a house in Provence which he intends to visit more often.

Sean’s claim to fame is that his distant relative was the last person to be hanged in Coventry.
