Burgis & Bullock was delighted to attend the annual Charity Quiz Night hosted by Lloyds Bank at the Manufacturing Technology Centre last week, joining businesses and professionals from across the region for an evening of fundraising, networking and friendly competition.
The event was held in support of The Brandon Trust, a charity that works to enable people with learning disabilities and autism to live independent, fulfilling lives. The evening provided an excellent opportunity not only to raise funds for a worthy cause but also to bring together members of the business community in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Representing Burgis & Bullock were two teams from across the firm, with a healthy dose of internal rivalry adding to the excitement of the evening. After a closely contested quiz, our Client Services team secured a respectable 10th place, narrowly outperforming our Audit team, who finished in 12th place. Whilst the Audit team may not have taken the honours in the quiz standings, they were able to celebrate success elsewhere by winning several prizes in the raffle.
In addition to the quiz itself, guests enjoyed opportunities to connect with fellow businesses and strengthen relationships with contacts from across the region. Events such as these highlight the value of bringing local organisations together, creating opportunities for collaboration whilst supporting important charitable causes.
One of the highlights of the evening was the charity auction, which featured four tickets to a Leicester Tigers rugby match, generously donated by Arthur J. Gallagher. The auction helped raise additional funds for The Brandon Trust and further demonstrated the commitment of local businesses to supporting the communities in which they operate.

It was fantastic to see so many organisations coming together for such a worthwhile cause, and we would like to thank Lloyds Bank for organising another successful event.
