In my last blog I posed the question: ‘How many more U-turns?’. Well we have the answer – yet another one and this time on ‘skip tax’. So that makes 5 in a week – not bad going in anyone’s book. Will Mr Osborne manage to regain some credibility over the coming months as future consultation on various Budget measures is expected.
This is one tax partner who is going to lie down in a dark place in the hope that we can get back to a bit of tax normality in the next few weeks. Advising clients with this level of uncertainty is particularly taxing and yes the pun was intended!
