Burgis & Bullock chosen as finalists in major new industry awards

We have been selected as finalists in the Event Marketing category of the British Accounting Marketing Awards 2018.

Representatives will travel to London on May 23 for the ceremony, held at the Keynote Theatre 2 and organised by TwentyTwo Agency in association with Accountex and My Firms App.

The award recognises the firms who have embraced event marketing and includes usage of online events such as webinars and offline events including workshops and training.

Finalists had to show how they provided value through running events and reaching more prospects and clients.

We run a wide range of events in 2017 ranging from talks on digital tax and budget briefings to charity quiz nights, as well as having a presence at business festivals and networking events across the region.

Burgis and Bullock Managing Partner Sean Farnell said: “We are very proud to be a finalist in the Event Marketing category of the inaugural British Accounting Marketing Awards.

“As a firm we are always looking to ensure our wide variety of events reach as many people as possible and offer great value.

“We ensure that people looking for help with the ever changing rules and regulations of the business world know we are here to offer them support. This nomination is acknowledgement of that.”

With a 130 year history we have built a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience, from Business start-up and owner-managed businesses through to national charities and international groups.

We were nominated after submitting details about their Business Mastermind Group events.

Starting in 2017, the series of interactive seminars aimed at helping the wider business community in their area improve profits and achieve their goals have proven popular.

The events are often run in conjunction with trusted partners and upcoming Business Mastermind Group sessions include a workshop on financial control for SMEs and a business development workshop based around recognising the value of your company.
