Anne Rose

Anne has 25 years of experience in providing tax advisory services to a wide variety of clients, including 20 years working at EY in the Midlands. She specialises in all aspects of corporate tax for owner managed companies as well as foreign owned entities and companies with PE backing. The tax code for UK companies is one of the most complicated in the world and despite a falling headline Corporate Tax rate there are many complexities to negotiate. Anne and the team at Burgis and Bullock can help you organise your company’s affairs in a tax efficient way.

Anne is currently helping many companies across a wide range of industries with making successful Research and Development tax credit relief claims as well as advising on the highly advantageous Patent Box relief. The sale of all or part of your business can require some careful planning to ensure you maximise your post tax return and we can help with that process. Anne also has recent experience in helping families wanting to consider succession planning and reward strategies for senior management, including advising on the use of tax advantaged share arrangements.

Anne has helped companies of all sizes to deal with HMRC enquiries into both corporation tax and employer tax matters and can help guide you through both the technical aspects of any enquiry and the procedures that need to be followed to achieve a timely and successful conclusion to the enquiry.

Anne is both an ICAEW qualified accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor which enables her to assist companies with a full tax accounting and compliance service, including the tax aspects of FRS102 implementation.

On a personal note Anne has two grown up sons, one of whom has recently converted her to the delights of being a Wasps fan.
