Charity Accounts
… Why is charity accounting different?
… How can Sage 50 make it easy?

Three Free Workshops

Following popular demand, we are pleased to announce the third in our series of workshops designed to help you get the most out of your accounting software.

Our January 2008 workshops will focus on charity accounting and why it is different to traditional accounting.  Charity accounting is made more complex as there are reporting and accounting requirements beyond traditional accounting – namely fund management.

As you will be aware, for charities it is about accountability and transparency – the accounts must give a true and fair view.  Sage 50 Accounts 2008 has an important part to play.  However, the organisation must be able to demonstrate its effectiveness and their achievements i.e. it is about being transparent.

These FREE workshops will review the latest version of the market leading Sage50 Accounts 2008 and its key functionality to support charities.  It is suitable for any type of charity producing accounts on an accruals basis and it is the market leading software for charities – 40% of charities who use accounts software use Sage (source research by Charity Finance Directors Group 2006).

Areas covered in the workshops will include:

Fund management

Income & expenditure management

Gift aid management

Financial reporting

Departmental management

Managing your staff

Membership management

Flexible reporting
